I’m so thankful for this video. I was gonna wait until I turn 25 to start my Roth IRA but you’ve inspired me to start now. I also fell into the credit card trap. Spent the past year paying it all off 😪 it was hard but it pushed me to take money seriously and finally learn about finances. Anyway, great video 😄

This is fantastic stuff, thanks a lot. Your videos helped a ton when I was in high school (8 years ago) and awesome to see your videos will still help me now haha.

One resource for building wealth that I've found immensely useful is a series of tweets by Naval Ravikant on "How to get rich without getting lucky". Really changed how I thought about money and I think you might find it interesting (you've done a lot of what he talks about with your youtube channel haha). Thanks again Mr. Tarrou!

Great video, I love how the financial education hole in schools is being supplemented by how many youtubers are making videos on it.

I feel like this is the type of community to like watching Ben Felix. He’s another content creator on YouTube who goes into the evidence behind why certain types of investing beat others, studies, academic papers, and math to back it up. Check him out if you’re interested in maximizing your investing (or just really like learning)

Thank you for telling young people the truth about credit card debt. I, too, grew up with that horrible credit card trap that ensnared my parents. My husband and I used credit and loans for one of three things…education costs, sensible cars or housing. We did not use credit for vacations, clothes, furniture and expensive cars. The peace of mind has been well worth it.
    You are a treasure, professor.

Watched your video on compounding interest when I was a freshmen in college and I was using your videos to learn calculus for intro engineering courses… 8 years ago

Now out of college and looking how to be smart with my money. Definitely gotta watch this one 🙂
