hello, newbie here. Please correct me if I am wrong. The reason of buying it on TD Easyweb this way is to have automated monthly contributions? otherwise a Self-Directed Tax-Free Savings Account would have been a better choice?

Hello thanks for the video. I really want to invest in index funds but I’m not sure how to go about doing it. Do you recommend Wealth Simple? I was thinking of purchasing an EFT per month.

Automate is truly the safest platform you can invest your funds.I must commend the platform, they are always consistent with withdrawals and their payments are automated always making me happy💯.

Do you need to open a brokerage account to do this? Because there is a fee if your balance is less than $15K.

Love the video guys! I'm based in Bangkok (Thailand) – what's the best brokerage account for non-US residents? I plan to buy into US, Canadian and International Index funds as well!

Hi there! What are the fees attached to having this e series account? Comparatively is this a better option than using Wealthsimple or Questrade?

I looked on easyweb and I can't see the same options as you. i.e. there is no PPP, redeem, switch options under investments. I called the bank and they said they discontinued this option to purchase e-series through TD Investment Services and the only way to get them is through direct investing. I find this hard to believe and I think the person I'm dealing with doesn't know what they are talking about. Can you tell me if you can still purchase e-series on easyweb without direct investing in Waterhouse?

Hey what account should I use for index funds? TFSA, RRSP, Cash account? What is best for tax purposes. TFSA is non taxable but there is a limit.

scotia I trade might have a bit of high commissions but it is a pretty good platform as long as your making consistent contributions to your funds to unsure the fees don't kill your gains

    Thoughts on Wealthsimple?

I'm a bit confused. I'm reading up articles here and there. Nothing seems to be able to provide me with a sound suggestion.
I have a TFSA account with TD as well where I'm currently investing in e series mutual funds. Now my monthly investment goal is $500 per month. I don't know how I should be handling this because I also have wealth simple invest. I want to be using the best value return in 10 years from now. What do you think I should do?

Awesome video!! Thanks for putting in research and sharing the info.

Though it's a good idea to to have index funds in your portfolio, it's worthwhile looking at performance (Net MER) of some of the funds offered by specialists companies such as AGF/Fidelity.
