Airbnb is more expensive in Chicago than hotel. Mostly the cleaning fees put you way over the top

Hi Ryan, this is a great video. I'm one of those people who don't like the taste of tap water. I buy gallons of water each week at Stop 'N' Shop. I buy their brand, which is roughly $.89 a gallon, but I go through 10 gallons a week. I didn't look at the big picture, meaning what it costs over the course of a year, but you opened my eyes. I'll look into that Brita system. Thanks for suggesting that. – Mike

Don’t live in shitty places and you can drink tap water instead of bottled water. I find it insane that bottled water is used in any situation other than gym, or outdoor activities.

@11:00 yep use a pitcher unless you have contaminated tap water. pitcher doesn't protect against certain things. Your town would let you know if the water was contaminated.

I was able to get a scholarship for community college in 99. When I hear people in debt for 50 to 150K for student loans it boggles my mind.

Better than a Britta filter or equivalent, pay a couple hundred for a Reverse Osmosis unit which will not only pay for itself more and more overtime, it will also increase the resale value of your home and provide you with water that has no mineral content to gunk up irons, coffee makers, steamers, humidifiers, etc.

Tap water is so good in parts of the UK, you dont even need a filter for it to be great

You can also buy refillable gallons and buy a water dispenser. Buying 5 gallons of water at the water store is less than $1!

Honestly i agree in all,but not in the water. I rather pay 260$ or € in my case per year and have a decent and healthy water, than actually drinking tap water. It's not only about the taste it's about the purity, they use bleach and whatnot to clean that water. I don't think that is healthy for humans long term. Spending money in health and well being is a good and wise thing to do. If you have a clean and pure water from your tap, great for you buddy but in case you don't like me,you are much more better buying bottled water.

Yes, as the product of a trade school, I highly recommend it, although you should definitely do your due diligence when choosing a school. For the sake of the planet, quit buying bottled water. Don't buy sodas, either. Buy yourself a seltzer bottle and make your own. It's less expensive, and much less waste. Don't buy a gym membership, take a walk or start running. I switch between streaming services, Britbox for a couple of months, Netflix for a few months, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and so on. Never more than one service per month. There are loads of other ways to save money, too.
