Marvel is more valuable than Star Wars to Disney now. Yes, merchandise too

Excellent "in the weeds" coverage of Disney in general and the stock in particular. I was amazed how many times Dan Kline kept saying the things I have felt, such as ESPN + being somewhat of a Dud and how us sports fans pretty much have to have the regular ESPN on either cable or SLING to avoid having to go to a bar just to watch sports. Also, great points about how Disney is laying the foundation for their Intellectual Property Empire.

"If they make a Darth Vader Prequel"?? Is this the one guy on earth who didn't get what the prequels were about?

Really enjoyed the insights as to how the consumer may interact with Disney . Although there may not be a huge upside in the short term, looking out 5-10-20 years you just got to believe in the Disney magic.

Disney is and will be solid for a long time. Buy, ignore the noise and hold for a long time.

Very good take on the state of Disney. One thing that would've been worth mentioning is, "Vader Episode 1: Shards of the Past". It's a star wars fan film released on Youtube a month ago. It became a story because Disney copyrighted their music, which sounded similar, but was original. They later retracted that.

The video is not bad, check it out. It was BIG at the "Youtube box office." In fact, so good that it could become a larger story about intellectual property and where is the line drawn in these types of assets? Perhaps the Solo story could've just been crowdsourced.
