I’m still a little confused, I purchased in 2015 with a co-signer, last payment made was 2017, the cosigner “took” over car but no payments were made, I have no idea what happened to vehicle. Long story short, Santander sold account and now I have a charge off with a zero balance. I am now being sued from the collection agency, I have received the $266 payment , I wanted to know if I can be sued

I’m in Texas…I had a repossession with Santander .I made payments for 2 years but they still charged off the original finance amount with no principal reduction..I came here because I just realized that the charge off has been completely removed from credit report

I have a question , my loan was taken out December 2013, car was repo March 2019 . The car was sold in auction and long story short a third party has the remaining balance and I have been paying that monthly , since it’s hurting my credit. Should I stop paying this until I see if I qualify ? They have offered to settle but i can’t afford the lump sum right now. I feel stuck , do I continue to pay and eventually settle, not pay and try to save and then settle or not pay and see if I qualify .thanks . I totally was scammed . $28,000 total and 6 years in still owed 14,000. Got it repo after every thing it was dropped to $10,000 . And now I’m paying monthly on that .

My state is not included in this…but I am in this situation. In WI, and my Santander loan went from a 3 year loan to a 5.5 year loan and going up as they have increased my interest to 28% daily interest, on a lemon that I was conned into purchasing. I am 2.5 years into paying on my loan and have only paid off 1% of my loan. They refuse to work out any payment arrangements or deferment with me regardless of extenuating circumstances, threatening to repo my car if I can't come up with $900+ in the next 30 days. 2011 vw Jetta, that had almost 100,000 miles on it. Charged almost 10,000 for the loan. Will end up paying off 15,000 or more after interest. Car not worth it. Can you help me please?

They charged me over 35k for a 17k vehicle and added on 5k for extended warranty for 12 months ( lol) and I put down 4k cash! Then the scumbag dealership "staged" my truck to make it perfect looking… problem was it wouldn't even pass inspection! Promised to fix but never happened after they put a sticker on it and a plate! Scumbags

My whole opinion on the Santanders Usa Settlement was pretty much no one got anything! The ones who did I’m happy for. They should be shut down permanently and everything else and everyone should get titles clear and debt forgiveness! Yeah Righ. They’re a joke and so is the States involved should be ashamed they let the CROOKS handle it!

How can I find out if I qualify? I got my loan through Chrysler capital in October 2018 and I have missed payments and deferred payments and now I’m late on my payments again. I gave them my truck which I don’t think went on the loan and I paid a three thousand dollar down payment.

I was surely charged an very high interest rate! I did trade it in but l was like to get some the high interest money l paid. And also they did not give me all of the monologue paid for insurance money l paid in case l defaulted on the loan. They are supposed to give some of the money back because l traded the car. But l really want to get some of the high interest rate they charged!

Middle of last year I was told I could have my car repo'd at anytime then paid what I could to keep the car. My principle hardly made a dent. Would I qualify for the title?

I have a 2015 NISSAN. Worthless & useless. I bought brand new. Liberty Nissan is equally guilty I put close to 4k down, asked to refinance. Its been in my garage needing its 3rd transmission SANTANDER will not provide accurate payoff, because ( they cant?) I'm in Illinois & have contacted the Attorney General, NISSAN, & SANTANDER. this is a mess

So I defaulted, it's not on my credit and I still have the car never hid it or anything I wanted them to come take it. I definitely qualify for my title, checking that site is part of my daily routine now.

@ credit repair shop, pardon me if this is a repeat question. I’m in Illinois and have missed 3 payments this year. Loan started June 2019 18.9%. I’m told if I can’t carry on I would have to surrender the car.

I originally got financing through Santander in Feb of 2008. This past Feb I realized that I never received my title after many years of paying them, even after two repossessions! I called Santander in Feb, was told that I had a balance of over $2k. I made an agreement to pay them $800 in order to get the title so that I could sell the car. YES, I paid the $800 and eventually received the title in late March. Now, these people that I spoke with had to know that the company had been through the lawsuit and was merely waiting for the final settlement agreement. What do you suggest that I do? This was quite a nightmare from HE77!!

I simply disputed it 2 weeks ago after I initially heard about it and they removed it off of one my credit reports so far(equifax). I’m waiting on the others to finish investigating the disputes so they can be removed.

When are we going to get the money and when can we stop making payments. Why do we still have to pay and they are ripping us off. This is crazy

**UPDATE **. I wrote to all 3 bureaus. And so far trans union removed it from my credit report. But equifax and Experian has not. I’ll wait few more days and see what happens if they remove it. But if they remove it so I still make payments. ? And if I continue making payments does it get reported and back to credit bureaus when santanders tries to report my monthly payment ?

Do you have an email? I was going o we my contract and I see on there where they inflated our income! I was trying to be proactive and send an email to Santander and they referred me to the attorney general but at the end of the letter they wrote thank you, princess like in a mocking kind of way! I have the evidence but do t k ow what to do now. Could I send it to you

The people that spent years paying and dealing with Santander then getting repoed should get all their money back, default loan payed as well as credit repairs. It's unfair that others and newer customers get to keep their cars and get the titles. The cars were part of our livelihood to get back and forth to work. They dont work with you even if you make timely payments.
