This guy is a con artist.
A debt collector just got a judgement on me but during this process I haven’t anything stating what the court date would be. They recently responded to my validation request and a week later I received the judgement in there favor, but from them not the court.
I have a one against me in Texas for a credit card from a bill collector. I think it’s a 4 year old debt .. should I just pay them.. ? They said I can pay half of the amount .. before court ..
Would this tactic work if the judgment is from a bailbondsman or whatever they're called?
I have a car loan that was originally about 3000 and at the time it was about 8000 and the car was totaled out and my insurance paid the back 4500 I believe. So I was reasonable for paying the rest. I was very young and I couldn’t pay the bill. I barely couldn’t take care of myself. When I went to speak with them they asked me to sign a judgment but at the time I didn’t even understand what that was. I wish I did because I would let sign it. I’m all for settling but I don’t have 9k for that loan I have two children I have to take care of. In may loan should be dropped off my credit. It’s been way over 7 years. What should I do because right now I’m saving money to pay them off because to fix my credit.
Today I received a letter from the collection law firm saying they want a default judgement against me because I didn’t reply within 28 days. What do I do next?
I am currently a client with a judgement and I’m trying to find out if the case can be re-opened. It was just ordered this year as a default because I knew nothing about the court date
Any chance that creditor is Discover? Class action? Judgements when paying, no breech, illegal?
If judgement is showing on Lexis Nexis but the collection company recently sent settlement options is it smart to settle and will they remove from Lexis Nexis after settling or do I have to request deletion….shows on 3 bureaus are charge off
Hello! I have a debt collection on my credit record. I was taken to court twice. First time, the case was dismissed in NJ. Second time was dismissed by the judge in PA. The plantiff can no longer sue me, however their is still a debt collection on just my experian credit record, and I'm unable to apply to any apartmemts in FL due to this being on my record. How can I be able to remove this debt collection off my credit record (only experian) once and for all, so I'm able to apply to aprtments again? Side note: This is first and only negative "collection" on my credit record.
Well, how do I settle a student loan already in default by a collection agency through the Dept. of Treasury? I just want to know the best option, because I currently have an administrative wage garnishment order from the collection agency. However, due to the whole Covid-19 situation, all garnishment has been put on hold until Dec. 31, 2020. What should I do? Thanks
If a company stated they purchased debt but filed a suit and the attorney demanded proof if the signed contract. They didn't provide it and filed a non suit. They still left it on the credit report. A dispute was filed with all of the credit reporting agencies with the documents showing the dropped the case. One of the agencies refused to remove it from the credit report. What can I do next? Thanks
