Some of the common lies they tell:

•They will prevent you from getting sued.

•They will get you out of tax consequences.

•They have special relationships with creditors.

•They are usually companies and or agencies not based in Michign — mainly based in Florida, California and Texas where there are weak consumer protection laws.

•**Create phony terms such as the National Council for Debt Relief

•**Some of them even use mailings such as the visual samples we have brought here today with legitmate sounding names and fake seals that resemble official government seals.

•If a consumer has questions or has entered into one of these programs and needs help you can call Jaafar & Mahdi at 313-846-6400 and receive a free letter from us to get out of the program and a free consultation or attend our consumer protection workshop with Michigan Forward on Saturday, February 13 from 11 a.m. — 1 p.m. in our office. When does a bank lose? Never. That why theyre still up and stronger. The best way if you have a debt with a credit card or bank is to pay it on tome and perhaps pay more than the monthly minimum due and not use a Debt Settlement Company that demands fees and your monthly payment dues. That way the creditor dont issue you that 1099-C for your tax filings.

I almost ended up transferring my debts currently being paid at the lowest interest rates with another company to National Debt relief. I am on time with all my debts. Have good credit too. But if I went with NDR, I would had have to stop all payments to my creditors for a minimum of 3 to 6 months but instead pay NDR. Then they would take their time negotiating with each creditor to lower your balance and payment. By that time they would put me on collection status, ruin my credit and of they garnish my wages, there is no protection. Too much hassle to drop my payments just by $50 a month.

Guys like this are dangerous. He's scarring more people away from getting proper help than hes saving from being scammed. The truth is most tax debt companies CAN stop tax collections actions against you. Yes, there's a few bad apples, just like any industry, and this guys one of them. Shame on you. Slander everyone just to get noticed….and to get your plug.

What this video fails to disclose are the positive attributes and facts about debt relief and debt relief companies. Why is this lawyer not educating consumers on facts that can help them with delinquent debt accounts. Example: When a debt is written off the banks lose nothing, See banks never actually put up the money when they approve you for a loan or give you a credit card. When you get a credit card, the bank is simply authorizing a credit limit for you to use, and once you fall behind on this account payment for several months the bank writes the debt off, even though they never really gave you hard money they will still write it off to clear their books, and this helps them obtain money through tax benefits, and the banks then sells hundreds of accounts at a given time, basically a legal scam, and because the banks sells these collection accounts at pennies on the dollar, this is the main reason debt settlement companies can settle debt, its not due to their relationship with the banks. Even better than debt settlement Golden Financial Services forces your creditors to prove their abiding by all of the federal laws, which as we all know they usually are not, and if they are not able to verify the validity of the debt, the bank can no longer legally collect on it, this becomes a legally uncollectible debt that cannot even be reported on your credit.
If this lawyer truly cared about the people he would put more attention towards helping people, not trying to shut down debt companies and sue them for millions, which is probably this attorneys goal, looking to take money from companies that are not operating legally, good cause, but lets be real here sir, is your objective really focussed on helping people? If you are trying to help people then why not educate them on their debt relief options if they are delinquent on their payments and cannot stay current, and don't tell me you preach BK as a positive program? Visit Golden Financial Services for more details on debt relief programs. http://nomorecreditcards.com and visit the blog to learn more about debt validation to make your debt legally uncollectible if creditors are not abiding by the laws here http://nomorecreditcards.com/debt-relief-blog/
