Credit Card Utilization Myths | BeatTheBush – Best Deal Right Now?

Most people will tell you to keep your utilization at 30%. Not me. You should actually keep it at 0% but actually use 100% of your credit. How can you do this? You see, if you use 100% of your credit limit and pay it off every month, you demonstrate you are a good credit card user and the issuer will quickly increase your score. Keeping your utilization at 100% will indeed make you score lower but there is a way to get around this by paying the full 100% right before the statement date. Using this method, I and many other are able to quickly increase the limit very quickly.

Is you pay everything before the statement date then you get the statement you owe $0 so you pay $0 then, how are you going to build payment history is you never really pay a statement? Please help

Hello Just for clarification. Should I let the card read at 100% utilization, and then the following month pay the balance off. or are you saying max it out and pay it off before the statement date? I'm a little confused. Great topic. Thank you

Is this method worldwide valid or just for Americans credit card scores in specific?

    July 22, 2021 at 9:33 pm

Bro, can you do a video including with the same mathematics illustration factoring in the 15% from age and 10% from types into say 100% history from both payments and utilization please!

    July 22, 2021 at 9:33 pm

If you zero out your utilization ratio before the statement date would report zero to the credit bureau so wouldn't that look like you weren't using the card and not result in a positive point increase?? , awesome mathematics illustration by the way.!!!!!

    July 22, 2021 at 9:33 pm

Very interesting protocol, however I'm with Navy Federal and the limit increases are increased every 3 months. I was given a $25,000 initial credit limit, so it's not very beneficial for me to spend 80-100% utilization with such generous credit limit increases.!!! this was a very informative video regarding the mathematics and payment protocol, thanks.!!!

I THINK I'm going to call experian my self and see if utilizing 80 or 90 percent literally every month and paying in full on time everymonth is true that it can higher my credit score.

Why is this YouTube financial advisor the only one I’ve heard give this kind of advisce?? That either means this man is the ONLY financial adviser that has ever been correct and everyone else is incorrect or… hear me out… all other SUCCESSFUL financial advisors are correct and this man is the only one incorrect. I’m going to go out in a limb here and say it’s the ladder. 🧐🤔🤔

Not to stereotype anybody but you always go to an Asian as far as finances go. Just like I go to a black guy if I need to win a basketball game.

As long as the person doing this is able to pay off the cards in full then I see no problem with it. Me personally, I rather just have most of my credit in reserve for actual emergencies.

It's difficult to know how to build credit as a beginner, when different sources give different advice. 0%, <10%, <30%, 100%. Looks like I'll be doing quite a bit of research. I appreciate the video

I wanted to get the Amazon/ chase credit card for the $150 gift card. I pay almost exclusively all expenses on one cash back card and some on my first credit card. My score is +800 and im pre-approved for a mortgage . I dont want a hard pull to mess up my score because of the lending on a mortgage i will have. Should i even worry about it?

I would recommend SolutionX expertise, a lot of people here would say do it yourself which I did but you can't beat this collection agencies and they kept calling with different numbers which can be annoying. I started with Lexington Law but their response was slow and they got just 1 item removed but I paid every month regardless until I started using "Anonymoussolutionx . org" credit fixiging expertise which paid off because they removed a few negative item and gave out free consultation on how to dispute a few myself. I have a current credit score of 780 and you should know there are a lot of good credit repair company, you just need to be smart about picking one in charge of your credit profile………

The man that's trying to build-up his credit score from Indianapolis 🇺🇸 p.s. Don't I want to keep it under 5%/7% Each month????

Oh shoot I just started doing this myself and I didn't even think someone else knew about it lol. My credit card has only a $300 limit but I'm constantly repaying off my credit card anytime my balance updates. I spent many hundreds of dollars last month but Capital One only reported an $87 balance to the credit bureaus. I also like putting as many purchases on the card as possible so I can get probably around $12 in cash back per month.

With beginners it’s more beneficial to show financial institutions that you can manage money. Spending 100% and paying it off shows a lack of financial control.

I recommend beginners stick to 30% or less and as your limit goes up allow your spending to go up as well .. never go over 65%!!! Remember credit is not real money it’s credit!

This is not good advice smh
