SA changes to lockdown level 1

With the passing of the summit of the Second wave (which came about due to the lowering of the restrictions during the holidays) The government has decided it is time to lower the lockdown level to Level 1.

“The government has decided it is time to lower the lockdown level to level 1.”

There is now a shorter night curfew (from midnight to 4 a.m.) and alcohol sales will return to normal, with the exception of this curfew.

There is also a relaxation of restrictions on the number of people who can meet in different places (e.g. services and funerals).

Social distancing Rules and wearing Face masks remains mandatory when you are not at home.
