It’s been more than a year since I published a video about the TOP 5 Credit Cards for Beginners in the Philippines (2020). Since then a lot of new credit cards in the Philippines were introduced, new credit card promos are launched, and some credit card features are updated.

And since the number of credit card holders in the Philippines are still below 5%, I assume that a lot of you are looking for the best credit card for beginners.

For me the Best Credit Card for Beginners are:
1. Basic Credit Card
2. No annual fee for life
3. Can earn points or rebates

There are a lot of basic credit cards in the Philippines, but as we are looking for the BEST, it must offer something very useful before we consider it one of the Best Credit Cards that a beginner credit cardholder can apply for.

Please take note though that this video only represents the best credit cards that are available for beginners. And I know that there are a lot of other credit cards in the Philippines which are far better than the cards I list down here.

Having said that, please always remember though that not all credit cards in the Philippines are the same. Some are cashback credit cards, some are travel credit cards, rewards credit cards, and a lot more. The most important thing is to know your spending habits to identify which credit cards available in the market is best for you.
