It's really great that TOS has a web version now though the desktop version is still the best in terms of its features. The tutorial is well structured, bite sized and the time stamp aids in zooming into the specific topics for recap.

Hope the web version can be further improved in the charts (drawings, studies), option (queues), calenders (earning, conf call, etc.) and the fundamental information (screener, financials, heat map, etc).

As installing the desktop version is not a viable option for me now, the web version is an alternative, apart from the mobile app.

This TOS web platform is all I need to trade. Don't need the desktop TOS, so I hope they keep it when all the accounts are moved to Schwab from TDA.

Trying to do something soooo simple. I cannot change the order of my positions. Can only change the order of my watchlists. It is so frustrating.

Thank you so much for the great content!
Question: can you set up an advanced contingent order on a spread in the web platform of TOS? (e..g.: First Trigger OCO on a credit spread).
Can you show us an example?

Again, thank you for such wonderful content. 🙂

Hello, I use the TOS mobile app and love it. on the app, to trade spreads, there is a drop down that'll change all the displayed information in the options chain to spreads. All of the spreads are already built, requiring me to only have to select the bid or ask column. Is there a way to do the same on the web platform instead of me having to build the spread myself, saving me some time?

  27. David Cooke
    July 31, 2021 at 10:34 am

Can not be used for day-trading, you say real time data in the web app but it's not even orders have delays. This is a poor option for the desktop, feels like something from 1980. Instead of putting money in to developing this web interface maybe you should improve the platform performance of the desktop version. Like for today TOS desktop has been down for 5 hours.

This was amazing. You managed to perfectly reverse-time the stock market at 9:50. You bought a $365 NFLX call to expire 3/20/20 a few days away from the absolute lowest point of the crash.

Way better than the regular site. Still not quite as good as the ToS desktop app though. (ToS needs some enhancements as well, so hopefully it's development will continue in the future).

It is convenience to log in to check the positions.

Need more improvement on charts such as inserting common studies, expansion to the left, zoom in and out, drawing tools, etc. Those candle are stuck at the edge which is very difficult to see
