You’re a real Mensch for telling people like it is! If you reach just a few people with this info, you will have provided a great service!
I'd rather buy an island
The best advice I have ever heard for new and used new boat owners.
Apparently you havent experienced cycling
Excellent and honest presentation ………………
Very informative. But just a note; nobody was wearing their mandatory life vest while cruising at high speed on open water!
My mate said the best 2 days of owning his boat was the day he bought it, and the day he sold it.
I appreciate your good information.👍🏿
So when you get ready to sell your boat….let me know. Looks like you take care of your equipment and you pay close attention to detail. I like that!
Love ur honesty.
Having a boat is easy, if you don’t mind imperfections. But if you want that glamour boat, that’s the pain in the butt he’s talking about.
One thing I'll add, I do enjoy fussing with the boat to an extent, sometimes I just go down to the dock after work just to clean, fix, or fiddle with something takes my mind off the work day and I was down at the water working on MY boat, hard to beat.
Bust. Out. Another. Thousand.
I don’t believe anyone should HAVE to take a boater safety course before they operate one, but I sure wish more people would. Like your channel my young sportsman. You have wisdom beyond your years.
My husband was a boat mechanic and we never owned a boat! It sucked not having one but when we would go to the lakes he was always spotted. I can't even tell you how many times I heard we have a small problem it will only take a minute if you could look at it. Eventually we quit even going to the lake as well because of that reason.
Always watch out for wildlife. I didn't hear you discuss animals and their safety, pardon if you did and i missed it. We're lucky enough to be surrounded by nature, they need our help when hurling thru water at 40mph ➕, no worse feeling than harming a person or animals so take care, here in SF plenty of seals everywhere, birds of all shapes and sizes, whales, Dolphins, all of them are in mortal danger from the 1000hp weekend warrior, take care…
I bought a boat. I regret buying it. Maintenance, time, friends harassing me to take them out. I’ll 100% do it again though 🤣. Probably trade for a Mako in January.

Harry Harris Park I grew up in this neighborhood
Great video. I think about a boat but it ain't worth the trouble.
Great points. Also if you don't have that much time but like to go out look into boat clubs. They take care of everything, you show up and take the boat out.
Cost per hour to run is a huge missed cost when people buy a boat.
This is why I stick to my Saturn 11 foot inflatable with a Yamaha 6hp. I owned it for 9 years and besides maintenance, it never failed on me. It's fuel efficient too
Everyone telling me not to get a boat are all boat owners that go out and enjoy their boat 🤷🏻♂️
Or you hire some yard donkey who's looking for side work at a better price. That's how I get my side jobs. Lol
