That whole Ocean and Scar story made me wish there was gonna be some poetic justice. Like the entire MMO clan helped hunt this prick down and beat him

I dont have a story like these, but i just got an offer for a credit card with an apr of 36%. I thought to myself "who the fuck would apply for this?". Its by far the worst offer i got to date. $76 per year, $8 per month on top of that on the first year. Next year it said $122 a year and $12 per month on top of that after that.

This makes me feel a little better for buying a $40 SNES game on eBay the other day. To be fair I have been after it for a couple of years

That story about Scar and Ocean really baffles me. I’ve heard of scamming, but where does Ocean get anything whatsoever out of lying to this guy about a job?
And I hope the guild mates and OP absolutely wrung Ocean’s neck when they heard the full story.

The first one. I work with many people like this. This one girl I work with has twin 5 year boys, makes sure they are wearing Jordans, Nike schoolbags, etc. But the twins share a bed they've had for a few years and they have very little cutlery in the house. Dad has doesn't want to work and she don't get paid much.

What's up with dudes making the woman work these days while they sit at home on a Playstation smoking blunts? That seems to be a HUGE trend.

I worked a in a convenience store when I was in college. We had this regular customer that really got on our nerves because he'd come in and drop ridiculous amounts of money on scratch tickets and make a ridiculous mess in the store. He'd scratch them off, leave the non winning tickets scattered around the store and was just an asshole in general.

One day we had a new bowling themed scratch ticket called Pinhead. Each deck of tickets had $300 worth of tickets in it. I had sold about 100 tickets out of that deck. Then this customer comes in. He spends a couple of hours buying tickets from that deck, scathing the tickets, never winning more than a couple of dollars, exchanging them for new tickets or buying new ones. He bought out the deck, I put a new one in, and he bought half the deck by the time I left. My relief comes in, he continues to buy tickets, the next day she told me what happened after I left. He bought the rest of the deck over another couple of hours and never wins big.

Finally, after he's been there for about 5 hours buying and scratching tickets he gets frustrated and looks at the girl behind the counter and says "I thought there was a guaranteed $500 winner in each deck. What happened?" She just looks at him and told him that each deck has $300 in tickets, if there was a guaranteed $500 winner in each deck, how would the state make any money off the lottery? The logic had never crossed his mind, he left dumbfounded.

I nicknamed him Pinhead after that incident. All my coworkers and my manager started to refer to him by that name too.
