You can’t even answer that question because you don’t know what the bank is going to give you unless they send you a letter saying you’ve been preapproved for this amount then but if you don’t have no preapproval and you apply online or in a branch it’s up to their description how much they’re gonna give you so do you know where the Apple card they gave me 1000 to start me off weight so yeah I took that hard pull my new credit card they gave me 1500 yes I took that hard pool my other credit card 3000 yes I took that hard pool my other credit card 2500 yes I took that hard for my other credit card 1850 yes I took that hardball because they told me how much I was preapproved for but other credit cards like my capital one credit card I got the hard pool and only golf $500 and then my other car I was preapproved for but they didn’t tell me the amount my city double cash card it was 500 so but no no I will not signal hot pools if it’s not involving a high amount of money 1000 or more

As you know from my comments on your other vids, I have 13 credit cards. I am still rebuilding but my highest limit is now $1800 and my lowest limit is $300. Now adays, if I wasn't approved for at least an $800 limit on a new card I wouldn't accept it.

Some banks just suck Wells Fargo is known for giving out low limits Barclays I have a Uber card for 2 years still @ 5k always made payments on time never increased my credit limit. Chase American Express Bank of America Citi all have given me generous limits.

I probably got lucky but I had two Capital one cards for about 6-8 months with $300 and $500 limit on them… so I was ready to take a chance to get a higher limit applied for CSP and got approved for their minimum $5000 limit 🙌

I have a 835 FICO and am now a number snob. I want a 20k limit and would be disappointed with less.

$3,000.00 at the lowest, to be honest.  With my credit file I'd be pissed off with anything lower.  Which has happened before!

I've been rebuilding for about 6 months. Got 1 secured card 3 unsecured cards, but the limits are all 500.00 and under… I'll take any limit as long as it's with a good bank/institution, I've had other offers but all are the 500.00 limit/100.00 annual fee type offers

That's a very interesting question Credit Plug.. When I first started my credit journey, my main focus was to one day achieve the higher limits of 10k and beyond.. And once I started reaching the goals of 10k and higher, my desires changed.. I shifted to wanting over 100k in credit, so I started maximizing my relationship with my existing banks, by getting as many cards as possible that they would allow.. So any and every account that I was approved for I accepted, again because I was shooting for over 100k in credit.. So for me, if an inquiry cost me a $2000 line of credit or less, I graciously accepted.. Now mind you, I wasn't applying for the junk cards like Credit One, First Premier etc.. I was hitting the reputable banks.. As time has passed I've surpassed my goal by over 80k heading towards 200k in credit.. Only because I humbly accepted offers that had a value and purpose towards my goal.. Meaning no annual fees, great promotional offers etc.. And i was mindful that even though my credit file was healthy etc, I understood the risk bank assume for new customer lending.. But most often they'll give you a pretty decent limit, because they see your profile of high limits, so the banks compete for your business, by trying to give you better limits and terms then the banks that are reporting on your credit file..And those people my friend, are the banks underwriting team.. Now your in the drivers seat, watching them slug it out for your business, trying to figure out the best way to earn your business.. The power of credit😁

Remember "little is much" a bible truth!

    – Great video CP.
Managed Expectations people. I don't have a minimum limit because it depends on my perceived value of the credit account &/or issuer. Not all credit accounts are created equal. For example I received a low limit from Nordstrom back in the day for only $500. But my wife likes shopping there, so I kept it open & always paid on time. Now it's over $6000 & one of my oldest accounts!

People must also accept that the credit limit is a reflection of spending behaviours & income. if you don't spend +$5k a mth why is a bank gona give you a +$20k limit??? especially in today's world. just my thoughts.
